What is status of the Red Devil?

South African Railways Class 26 #3450, “The Red Devil” was restored to working condition by Ceres Rail Company is 2018. She was last used in 2019, after which Covid-19 struck and she was put into storage. At present, the locomotive is only being attended to cosmetically to prevent further deterioration. A detailed maintenance plan is in place for the moment a new lease is approved for the locomotive by Transnet Freight Rail.
