What is the history of Ceres Rail Company?

Ceres Rail Company was formed in 2013 by Ceres Golf Estate as an initiative to restore the derelict railway line from Wolseley to Ceres and Prince Alfred Hamlet and to use it to reduce the freight congestion on Michell’s Pass. This initiative resulted in a tourism spin-off and the purchase of locomotives and coaches to use to operate this. The first passenger train rain in 2015, and the first freight train in 2016.
