What route is followed to Simon’s Town?

At present, the route to Simon’s Town is indirect due to infrastructure damage inflicted during Covid-19. The route leaves Cape Town Harbour and snakes inland to Bellville, where it turns 180 degrees and heads back towards the Cape Town city centre, turning down the Southern Line close to Observatory. The line then continues to Muizenberg (where the coastal part of the journey begins), and then reaches Simon’s Town.
